AAU tryouts

BASKETBALL Spring TRYOUT REGISTRATION 

All players are required to attend at least one tryout to be evaluated for a Spring AAU Basketball team and for The Peak League.  If you are a current Winter '24/'25 or Fall '24 AAU player interested in playing in The Peak League for the Spring please contact john.bernardo@peaksportsacademyNJ.com.

Tryout registration will be closed once maximum capacity is reached. Registration for tryouts is on a first come first serve basis. If you are unable to attend a tryout, a makeup tryout may be made available on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

The cost for Open Tryouts is $35. Boys and girls will try out separately and by age group. Spring Tryout Dates and Important Information:

Girls Spring Basketball Tryouts

Girls Grades 4-6

  • Friday, 2/14 3:30 - 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday, 3/4 7:00 - 8:30 PM (NEW DATE ADDED)
  • Tuesday, 3/11 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Girls Grades 7-8

  • Friday, 2/14 3:30 - 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, 3/9 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Girls High School

  • Sunday, 3/9 5:30 - 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday, 3/11 7:30 - 9:00 PM

Boys Spring Basketball Tryouts

Boys Grades 3-5

  • Friday, 2/14 1:30 - 3:00 PM
  • Monday, 2/17 1:00 - 2:30 PM
  • Monday, 3/4 6:00 - 7:00 PM (NEW DATE ADDED)
  • Monday, 3/10 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Boys Grades 6-8

Spring Basketball Season Details:

Peak has AAU teams at the following levels:

  • Prospect (competitive) - Grades 3-10
  • Select (highly competitive) - Grades 3-12
  • Premier (high exposure) - High School

Spring AAU and The Peak League season starts on March 24th and will practice through early to mid-June depending on final tournaments.
