Coach Alexandria Kerr played four years at the University of New Haven (three-year captain). Last year she played professionally in Spain. We are thrilled to have her running our Saturday girl's basketball clinic.

Coach Kerr graduated from Montclair High School as a member of the National Honors Society, the captain of the varsity basketball team for 3 years and a 1000+ point scorer. She continued her academic and athletic career at the University of New Haven. Athletically, she started every game of her basketball career at the University, scoring 1,500 career points and grabbing 500+ rebounds. She was the captain of the team 3 of her 4 years at school.

She then went on to play overseas in Melilla, Spain.

She has coached at clinics and mentored both boys and girls for the last 7 years of her career; working and volunteering her time to enhance the youths’ basketball, physical, and mental skills. Her love for basketball has allowed her to travel and see different parts of the world. Coach Kerr wants to use her experience to leave a lasting impact on the youth.

Her assistant is Joy Mulzoff who is a senior and a varsity player from Mount Saint Mary who was undefeated in the 2021 basketball season. She had a success basketball and academic career at the Mount. She has also been a part of our basketball community since she was in 5th grade and truly embodies the values of our culture.

The coaches will be working on advanced ball handling, high level shooting drills, intense athletic development, rebounding, concepts of offense and defense and special teams plays. The drills will get the players ready for the next level.

This is a four consecutive week Saturday night clinic starting on April 24th. Dates are April 24th, May 1st, May 8th and May 15th.  The clinic will meet from 6:00-7:30 pm for 3rd-5th grade and 7:30-9:00 pm for grades 6th-8th.

Girls should bring their own ball and water.
